John Ecke

John is the President of Informa Engage.   Informa Engage is the centralized marketing services organization that is tasked with inspiring, enabling, and then delivering marketing services to the dozens of specialist markets served across Informa. He oversees the strategic advisory, product development, sales enablement, delivery, design, research, ad operations, and campaign marketing teams.

He joined Informa via the acquisition of Penton in 2016 where he was Vice President of Digital Products. Prior to Penton John spent 18 years at UBM in various leadership roles. He’s a senior media and marketing executive with 25+ years helping B2B information companies, brands, and teams successfully navigate through the ever-changing digital landscape.
